SATS

In May the children in Years 2 and Years 6 take their SATs, these are used to determine the educational progress of each child. They make comparisons between children against the average attainment expectations for their respective age group.

Although the data created by end of key stage testing in Year 2 and 6, is only one part of what we do here at Westfield Nursery and Primary School, it is indicative of our focus on improving teaching and learning and our desire to ensure that all of our pupils succeed. Our improving data is the result of the hard work of the staff, the engagement with learning of our pupils and the support provided by our parents and I think we should all be proud of the part we have played in ensuring our pupils enjoy their learning and achievements.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 2020/2021

KS1 and 2 NO testing will take place this year due to COVID-19.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 2021/2022

KS1 SATS will take place during May 2022

KS2 SATS will take place 9th May to 14th May 2022
