Although the data created by end of key stage testing in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, along with the phonics screening test in Year 1, is only one part of what we do here at Westfield Nursery and Primary School, it is indicative of our focus on improving teaching and learning and our desire to ensure that all of our pupils succeed. Our improving data is the result of the hard work of the staff, the engagement with learning of our pupils and the support provided by our parents and I think we should all be proud of the part we have played in ensuring our pupils enjoy their learning and achievements.

KEY STAGE 2 RESULTS
Children’s attainment at the end of KS2 is reported with a scaled score, where 100 indicates the expected standard and 110 indicates a higher level of attainment. Performance and progress in writing continues to be teacher assessed. The table below presents Westfield Nursery and Primary School attainment data at the end of KS2 2022 alongside national comparisons. Progress across Key Stage 2 is judged comparing Key Stage 1 average point scores and Key Stage 2 average scaled scores.
This year, the Department for Education set a floor standard (a minimum requirement) for average progress scores. The table below presents Westfield progress data for KS2 alongside the floor standards.
